Sheida earned her Master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture from KU Leuven University, Belgium in 2018, following a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Urmia University, Iran. She was a registered architect in Belgium and worked there for 7 years before relocating to Canada, gaining extensive European experience in both design and project coordination.

Sheida brings a broad range of architectural experience, having worked on a wide range of residential and commercial projects in Belgium—from villa renovations and multi-unit housing to large-scale mixed-use towers. Her involvement has consistently spanned the full project lifecycle: from early concept and feasibility studies through to construction documentation and site coordination.

In May 2025, Sheida joined Systemic Architecture Inc. as an Architectural Designer, where she continues to grow her expertise within the Canadian architectural context. She is expanding her knowledge of local construction practices, building codes, and permitting processes in Alberta.

Sheida is proficient in Revit and adept at producing coordinated drawing sets with a high level of accuracy. She is fluent in English, Persian, and Dutch, and is currently enhancing her skills with a focus on Alberta’s Building Code. Her strengths lie in her precision, organization, and ability to adapt quickly to new regulatory environments.

Outside of work, Sheida loves to connect with nature through outdoor hiking, mountaineering, and climbing. These activities fuel her creativity and inspire her design philosophy.
